Church management software

Every module your church needs.
One honest price.

Membership, online giving, pledges, fund accounting, attendance, communications, and guest followup in a single system. Simple enough that staff and volunteers just get it, complete enough to run the whole church, with no per-module fees. Built from scratch by an engineer for his own parish, and refined in Sunday-morning use ever since.

Why this exists

Built for my own church first.

I evaluated every major church management platform for my parish, and none of them held up. The pricing punished you, with separate charges for giving, accounting, and texting on top of a high base fee. Features a church office needs every week were missing or half-built. And the platforms themselves felt a decade old, clumsy on a phone and confusing for volunteers. What I wanted didn't exist: something simple enough that staff and volunteers just get it, yet complete enough to run the entire church, every member, every gift, every followup, on one system. So I wrote it. SanctuaryIQ went live at St. John Armenian Church in Detroit, where I worked through every screen with our office staff, our priest, and our parishioners until it fit the way a church actually runs. That parish still runs on it every week, and now other churches do too.

Engineering

Written from scratch. No frameworks, no borrowed code.

Most software today is assembled from hundreds of third-party packages the vendor has never read. SanctuaryIQ is different: every line of the platform was written in-house. That is a security decision as much as an engineering one.

code

No third-party frameworks

The application core uses no external libraries or frameworks. There is no dependency chain to inherit bugs from, and no npm-style supply-chain exposure. We can explain every line because we wrote every line.

shield_lock

Security held to the highest standard

Parameterized queries everywhere, role-gated endpoints, encrypted credentials at rest, tenant isolation enforced at the query layer, and a full audit trail. When a framework CVE makes the news, it does not apply to us.

speed

Fast because it is lean

No framework overhead means pages load fast on the office desktop and on a volunteer's phone in the parish hall. The whole platform installs as a web app with nothing to download.

Who it's for

Built for the people who keep the church running.

SanctuaryIQ was shaped by working alongside a real church office. It fits the pastor, the administrator, and the treasurer, not just the IT department.

church

Pastors & Priests

One picture of the parish: attendance, giving, guest followup, and who needs a visit this week. Not five disconnected tools and a spreadsheet.

badge

Church Administrators

Plain-English answers from your data: lapsed members, giving trends, volunteer gaps. No custom report requests, no database queries.

savings

Finance & Treasurers

Donations, pledges, recurring gifts, and a real chart of accounts. Year-end statements generate themselves. Reconciliation that actually reconciles.

Ministry & Group Leaders

Mobile rosters, attendance tracking, and group communication. See who hasn't shown up in three weeks without having to remember.

handshake

Volunteer Coordinators

Schedule the Sunday team in minutes and confirm by text. Fill open slots before the service starts, and see who has been serving too many weeks in a row.

IT & Operations

Multi-tenant isolation, role-based access, encrypted credentials, a documented REST API, and no third-party framework dependencies to audit.

What it replaces

One platform instead of five disconnected tools.

Most churches stitch together a member database, a giving processor, a check-in tablet, an email tool, and a spreadsheet for everything else. SanctuaryIQ replaces all of them for one price.

What churches use today
What SanctuaryIQ does instead
Spreadsheets for membership, attendance, and giving
A single live database with a full audit trail, dashboards, and statements
A separate giving processor that doesn't talk to your member database
Donations, pledges, and recurring gifts linked to real people automatically
Legacy church software priced per module, with texting and accounting as paid add-ons
Every module included in one per-church price
"We'll call them on Tuesday" guest followup that lives in someone's head
Automatic guest followup workflows: email, text, and a hand-off to the right pastor
QuickBooks plus a giving export reconciled by hand each month
A real chart of accounts with fund accounting and one-click deposit reconciliation
Custom reports that take a week to configure, if anyone knows how
Ask a question in plain English and get a chart, summary, and table back
What you get

The work it takes off your plate.

waving_hand

Guest followup that happens

Every first-time guest enters a followup journey the moment they fill out a card: a welcome email within the hour and a hand-off to the right pastor by Tuesday. Nobody slips through.

favorite

Pastoral care that stays tracked

The platform surfaces members who used to be regular and have quietly drifted. Hospital visits, life events, and prayer requests stay on record instead of in a notebook.

volunteer_activism

Giving without the add-on fees

Online tithing, recurring gifts, pledge campaigns, and automatic statements are part of the platform, not a separately priced product bolted on top.

insights

Reports without a specialist

Ask "which groups grew this fall?" or "what's the average pledge for our long-time members?" and get a chart and a table back in seconds.

edit_note

Communications drafted for review

Birthday notes, baptism congratulations, and year-end giving thanks are drafted for you, then edited and sent by a real person on your staff. Nothing goes out unreviewed.

smartphone

Works on the phones you already have

Take attendance from a phone, confirm volunteers by text, and check kids in at the door. The platform installs as a web app with no app store involved.

Reporting

Ask your data a question.

The built-in Pastoral Assistant turns plain-English questions into charts, tables, and written answers pulled live from your church's own data. It reads your data; it never modifies it.

help

"Who hasn't attended in 6+ weeks?"

Returns formerly regular members sorted by length of absence, with last contact date and group status, so a check-in call can happen this week.

help

"How is giving trending vs. last year?"

Shows giving by week, fund, and donor cohort, and flags lapsed pledges before quarter-end instead of after.

help

"Which guests came back a second time?"

Tracks first-visit to second-visit conversion by service and campus, the best leading indicator of a healthy welcome.

help

"Where are we short on volunteers next month?"

Forecasts open slots by team and Sunday, with suggested members to invite based on past serving.
